Our ask to every employer in the UK: make a pledge to include salary info on every job ad.

Not showing the salary yet? Here's the 1 minute read on why you should start:

01

Support fair and equitable pay

Achieving fair and equitable pay starts with the job ad. Showing salary info is recognised as a key part of levelling the playing field on pay gaps – so if you're setting out to be a diverse, inclusive and equitable employer, putting the salary in the job should be a given.

02

Bring in more applications, from a wider talent pool

Well over half of us say we're unlikely to apply for jobs that don't have salary info in the job ad. When you don't show the salary, you miss out on loads of talent.

03

Show that you treat people well

People don't want to waste time on applying for jobs if the salary might not be a good fit. Including salary info in the job ad, sends a clear signal that you're an employer that respects people's time and effort. Quite simply, it’s the decent way to treat people.

04

Save time and resources

If you still need convincing… including salary info in the job ad will save time and resources in your talent acquisition process – by removing bottlenecks and making sure everyone’s aligned on salary from the outset.
